lyrics

Cliché This

It’s cliché this and it’s cliché that,
Everybody wants to talk about feelings these days,
And it’s always done in such a horrible way,
As the sun sets softly on the ocean waves,
But 5 miles down the road there’s an old man,
Kicking to death a 4 month old lamb,
And you never look past the picture postcards,
All disneyfide and sterilised you never think twice.

I find it really annoying,
How music seems to have died,
No soul no substance,
Just whingey throwaway lines,
This machine used to kill fascists,
No it gets ginger people girlfriends, Gets them girlfriends, Gets them girlfriends.

And its cliché this and it’s cliché that,
ne me quitte pas,
And pronouncing French words slightly wrong,
Makes you a pretentious twat,
And the sun sets softly on the ocean waves,
And it’s time for me to leave behind this ranting rage,
So I’ll leave you all with a plea,
If you have to write music,
Make it worth listening to, Please.
